nightsister rancors singing mountinclan and enraged and maybe ancient but its usless to try to hunt them for the loot my opion.

All drop loot, enraged the most, ancients also drop loot and NS, SMC rancors drop loot. Hope that helps.

All Rancors have a chance of dropping loot of some sort - even the Rancor youths
However I find the highest drop rate and best stuff comes from Enraged Bull Rancors and to a lesser extent Enraged Rancors.

Actually, I killed over 300 rancors last night and not ONE of any kind dropped anything. Not even grenades, sneakers, shirt, pants, or pistols like I used to get from time to time...

loot from nightsister rancors isnt too hot - i got a carbine from one wit a yellow name that i couldnt see anything special about
enraged, mutant, enraged bull and ancient bull are well worth killing
ive had exceptional padded, exceptional teeth (290 max dmg!) and a 509 health poison DOT exceptional axe from these suckers
not to mention a lot of other DOT weapons with around 200-300 strength
the fact they take about 4 hits to kill with a powerhammer makes these good for farming

Order of most frequent drops (for me at least):
Enraged Rancors
Enraged Bull Rancors
Regular/Gnarled/Mutant
Youths
SMC/NS rancors
Ancients
Order of the best drops:
Ancient
Enraged Bulls
Enraged
Mutants
the rest of them
These are the results of what I found when hunting the buggers. As others have posted, however, nothing is dropping off of ANYTHING right now, so if you are going for loot, don't bother. If you are going for xp an/or hide/meat...go for it. I'm mostly going for the xp, but darnit!, I do like it when it says "You have completely looted the corpse."

It's the only explaination that makes sense - peeps were reporting ungodly types of loot on Sunday - Monday its drier than the Mojave desert.
