I don't post links that often but I've never been able to get this to work correctly.

I've used <a href=[link address]>[link text]</a> as a start and tried replacing the link address text with the web address and the link text with the clickable name but it doesn't work for me. When I preview the post the link text shows correctly and in a different color but after posting the message you can't click on it. Rather that continue to look like a forum noob (which I guess I am) I'd like to get this figured out. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

do what you're doing, but first click on "Edit as HTML" in the lower right.

Ahah! I think I figured out what I was doing wrong even after editing as HTML. I was leaving the brackets in. Thanks for the guide!
