I just received my Saitek X52 joystick last night. I plugged it into my USB port. Windows recognized it and installed the proper driver to use it (this was all done automatically). I tested it through windows and all was well in the world.

Then I lauched SWG. I went into the lauchpad areaunder thesupport tab and went to click the box "Enable Joystick". The launchpad software would not allow me to click the box. That specific box was frozen for some reason I am unaware.

So I went into the game anyway, went into space and nothing. The software does not see my joystick. I need to somehow figure out why launchpad will not allow me to check the "enable joystick" box.

Can anyone out there help me out please?
