I've been waiting a few weeks now for the Bestine election to end and it appears to just go on and on.

Does the election ever actually end or is it just some kind of weird mini-mission? If it does end is there anyway to find out other than just running back to the building every day and checking?

its suppose to last 3 weeks.... but if unchecked.... last forever as it seems.... I'm almost sure its been longer then 3 weeks now

It definitely does end, I think it is longer than 3 weeks. It's like 1 month for the elections to tally and 1 month for the winner to be in office. I have been through at least 2 finishes ones and have the rug and statue prizes.
