Thread: Which is the best Brawler/marksman profession with only Tier 4?

When I do Shipwrigt I will have no skills left for any elite combat profession. I will probably have only SP left for level 4 in a basic combat profession. I will of course not do any combat with this character, only protect myself when I do harvester runs.
Which one is the best choice? Marksman pistoleer maybe, since I have some pre-nerf FWG5 with above 300 damage.

Id prob go onehanded myself. u can dizzy kd with just tier3 (dizzy1 and lunge1) ands with a vibroblade u can do decent damage and hit your prey (good acc on it and ap1).

Carbines have the best combo of speed and power at tier 4 Marksman but the HAM cost are HIGH and will drain you HAM bar in a few attacks if you're not buffed. Rifles are WAY to slow at any level other than Master Rifleman and inaccurate at close range at Rifles IV to boot. Brawler classes aren't as fast or as powerful, except Polearms IV whichis extremely powerful for a tier 4 Brawler skill but it's slow and the specials drain your HAM in 2 or 3 attacks unless buffed.
If you're looking for unbuffed self-defence while checking harvesters, then Pistol IV with your pre-nerf FWGs or perhapsa pre-patch Krayt Republic Blaster, would be best. You'll get good power, speed, accuracy, and low HAM cost.

Polearms 4 with a decent (high end crafted will do) LVA. You can't go wrong with 450+ max damage at AP2.

Nothing beats 2handed 4, get yourself a ncie 2handed sword, around 120-288 damage and 2.5 speed with a nice speed slice, also good accurcey and AP2!
