Afriend and I share houses, and I am on his adminlist for all his structures.

If he stops playing SWG, and thereby stops the monthly payment, will I be able to continue to pay maintenance on his houses, or will they automatically decay?

If ANYONE is gonna quit for more than a month they need to store what they want to keep in the bank

and in personal inventory.

That may not answer your question just saying that's that way to do it if you want some kind of guarantee.

You can pay the maintanance on the stuctures, if you are admin, but if he dunno log in for more than one month his

structures get destroyed. And as far as i know they will get immidiatly destroyed if he cancels his account.

Unless its been changed very recently. This is wrong. I put 6 months maint into my house when i quit back in april and did'nt come back unitl oct and it was still there. I have harvs on lots from people i rented them off and have not seen in over 6 months. If you just cancle the account you chararacter stays there until purged. I've been told its at least 3 months if not longer before that happends.

The houses will persist until the owning character is deleted by the user, maintenance runs out, or the character is deleted by the periodic inactive account deletions. The inactive account deletions are announced, so you'll know when that's going to happen. Failing to renwe an expired account will not remove the houses.

SOE announced regular character purges, but they haven't started yet (they were originally supposed to start in mid-October). Once those go into effect you may need to deal with this.

If you cancel your account (leaving a toon inactive on an active account doesn't count) and don't re-subscribe within 6 months your character, owned structures, and owned items will get deleted. Structures will probably be removed even if another character is set as an admin.

AFAIK, there has been no notice about inactive characters on active accounts. I've got a toon I made over a year ago on Scylla (to give me something to do when Chilastra was the always-down server), and he still shows up on the character selection screen. I don't have any structures placed with him, so I can't verify anything about that.
