What about the POI's that only spawn after a server reboot?

spawns are one thing--that'll be a problem. Pretty cool if they're not going to restart anymore--though I must admit, it might be a good thing that I can't get on SWG at that particular point in time...
I found it very humorous that:
"We have been improving our overall server stability"
Considering the stability of the SWG Client these days

I think they are time based respawns and not related to server restart.
So they MAY still spawn at the specific times....But don't quote me on that.

Hmmm. What about the race tracks? They only reset at server reset.

Those are probably also reset at a specific time and not just based on the actual physicalreset of the servers. So it should be something like checking for the best time at say midnight EST and then reseting the track logs.

Good point on the racetracks. That question should be addressed by the Devs...

the biggest problem is items still disappear from inventory when you leave a vendor tent and only return after server reboot. I have had items return after logging for an hour, but then they just disappear again.

this morning i got a "Server reset in 13 minutes" thing at 6:47 like i do every morning.

The anouncement says that this will not be a daily thing but there will still be days that they will have to drop the server during the maintenance window to load patches and hotfixes. You just happened to be online on oneof those days.
