Ive been doing nym's themepark and i did the first two missions for jinkins and kole but when i go to the Research Lab for nym i can only find the harddrive. I've found the storage crate where i'm guessing the casings are supposed to be but its been empty every time i've looked for the past 3 days. Is this bugged or is someone just beating me to the loot?

can anyone help?

I did it a few weeks ago on tempest and had no problems. There was even some duffus at the research place who started having a kiniption fit when i arrived ... "I was here first!! Your wrecking it!! I'm doing something!!" Waaaa. I just ignored him, didn't say one thing, went and found what i needed (the grenade casings took some searching ...down towards the bottom in one of the side rooms i think) and then left. bring a friend to see if you can trade the items. I can't recall if you can or not.

There seems to be some sort of bug with nym

theres a very quick way to do this

The container actualy doesnt have anything in it, open it then look in your inventory its there

you dont have to talk to any one do any other missions etc exept the last one

If you want to "cheat" the mission

just goto the last way point 902 -4193 run into the research facility and find the only container that you can open take the grenade and find the only computer you can use and take the harddrive

Go back to nym and drop the objects on him

Mission complete badges all round

ok this is what i had to do, pay someone to go back to the lab and collect the item again, seems you can retake the mission, I'm unsure why this bugs still???

so, if i do nym's (or any other themepark, for that matter) and someone else is doind the same part that i am at the same time, is there only one of us that will get the item(s) needed to complete the mish?

just wanna know since i had only once encountered anyone else in my mish area but had no prob that time. (i was on a random rescue mish, and someone else came into the bldg just to loot it. i only had to find the mish person, so loot was not an issue.)

Korant - sometimes when you're in missions or quests like that the items will be on a spawn timer. So, for instance, if someone comes in while you're looking for a box/corpse/etc that has a certain item on it that you need for the quest and takes it before you can get to it, it will respawn without you having to restart the mission. At least that has been the case with me. Usually the respawn time is not super long either, so if the area isn't dangerous you can just hang out for a few minutes and check again.

Also, yeah Nym's was odd - the chest seemed empty, yet the items WERE deposited in my inventory. Check that too!

Just keep in mind that you will get the items in your inventory when your open the computer or magseal container. You do not have to actually select the item (like in warren) to get it. It will just appear in your inventory. The first time it didn't appear, the second time i clicked open on the magseal it did apear, just try a few times. You will see a message (if you have the hard drive like you do) that you have all the items to complete the quest and that you have to go talk to NYM. Good luck m8.

thnx ppl for clearing that up for me. also, i now know why strange things kept appearing in my inventory. silly me, i thought that the low level items were random creations whenever u removed a power-up from a weapon. i did that a few times, as well as checking loot chests while exploring. :/

next themepark attempt will be nym's, as soon as i scrape up the cash to get equipped.

The hard drive is in the cubicles room, center cubicle. I would have missed it to had not a veteran been part of my group at that time.
