Hi there,

Just a quick question...Using shift + control + H apparently closes all on-screen items such as the chat box, tool bars etc...Is there are way to issue commands in the game with these windows closed? In other words, as an example, could i still issue the /cry command with the chat box closed?

Thanks,

Anaphylaxis

you could make a macro for /cry and then bind a key to that macro.

yes you can still type in the chat box if you have it selected before you do it

P.S. - this is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated.

I piosted on this topic the other day, but my post seems to be gone. So's here is the questions, using shift + control + H, clears one's screen of all windows (e.g. chat). Is it still possible to chat and issue commands with these screens closed?

Thanks,

A macro might keep on running with no interface but I'd be just guessing.

If you want to do an action while the interface is closed, like if you want to take a picture while your character does /duck, type the command in the command bar when the interface is on. Then close the interface and when you're ready, simply hit "enter" and it'll do the command.

You can't type commands when the interface is closed, but you can enter commands that are already typed in the bar.

If you have the command bound to an F-key, I'm pretty sure it still works. If you can't just drag the command up there because it's not in the Actions window, just make a macro for it.
