Click on the 'My Profile' link towards the top of each forum page. You'll see a text box for signatures.

Hey, since I made a Star Wars Quake III mod 5 years ago, does that make me an SOE dev??

The answer to where you edit your sig was stated if you want to know how to make one then... the simplest of methods for the html illiterate like myself is to opena new message or reply to a message, either way just open that box. Then create your sig in the graphical editor (default) using the colors, lines, fonts, justification, etc available to you and getit the way you want it. then click Edit in HTML at the bottom. This will transform your sig into the code you need to put in your sig. Copy all of that, and paste it into your sig box in My Profile. You can check it by reviewing one of your older posts, no need to repost, it will be a global change. Once you look at it, you can probably easily figure out what the commands are doing then get a little creative.

I tried the approach mentioned, seems simple enough. When i try to save the changes to my profile, it says:

Signature: You don't have permission to have simple HTML in your signature. Tag is restricted: <!--StartFragment -->

Any ideas?

1)Make a reply to this message |

2)Put in the reply what you would like your sig to look like |

3)When your happy with the look, click the edit to html button\/

4)Copy html text and paste in your profile, save changes

5)Check a PREVIOUS post to see your sig, if it looks alittle messed up go and save changes in profile again.

Enjoy

I figured it out... it didn't like saving a web link in the sig.

Are you adding the web link to your graphical editor or html editor? You may also try sticking it in after you paste the rest into your sig into your profile, just tag it on at the end if that is where you want it.
