Mark of Altruism : Its been 2 days and 3 hours, still cant find this Farmer.

As you can see, Server is Ahazi, ne one finds him, plz tell.

Make sure you have Planet chat open, on our server someone usually shouts out if they come across one of the Hero spawns. Hope they do the same on yours.

I have done this questtwice now. it's a pain to find him. thats the hardest of all the parts. I found just do 4 wp's in a box of his spawn area, pull out an x34, or mount (u dont want to use faster vehicles things wont spawn if you travle to fast) and just criss cross the area for a while.

Dont spend all day doing it tho, it's not worth it and i think thiers a delay from when he despawns and respawns plus he walks around alot and might walk out of his spawn area. so if you dont find him in a few days spending 30mins looking for him a day dont worry he will show up.

I found him on Ahazi about a week ago. Initially, I was looking for him south of Mos Taike like the guide says. However, people were starting to post that they were finding him in the mountains north of Bestine. After I started looking there, I found him in less than 10 minutes. Remember that he won't show up on your radar, but will appear as a white dot on your overhead map.

it took me 4 weeks to find the farmer, 3 weeks to find the pirates, and a couple hours to do the others :/

funnily enough, the day i found the farmer, i found another farmer on the way to the cave (sold the location for 500k ) andanother farmer coming back from the cave (another 500k! whee!) and then day later, ANOTHER farmer just driving around randomly (gave that location to a friend).. as for the pirates, i found another group the next day, and the bladeback boar i've seen like 20 ofdriving around randomly (4 of them i saw on the racetrack) all of which i either gave the locations to friends or sold the locations to people.

but i got my mark, and i'm happy after the seemingly endless frustration...

The farmer loves to walk and walk and walk. All the way to Bestine if he can. Travels in a south, south west direction from the spawn points. Don't ride in a swoop or av-21 you'll pass him. Use the waypoints from the guide. Remember to have overhead map on since he won't show up on radar. And if you find him near a spawn point near Mos Taike, tell others about it after you talk to him. I found he'll spawn 3 times in the same spot before moving to another spawn point. Frustrating, but have patience.

I found him heading south from the Squill Cave. I headed south on foot to the closest static city and he showed right up. And no you dont have to do them in order, and you dont even need the quest to get them. I killed the bladeback boar while racing and when I looted the mark I decided maybe I would do the quest, so I went to the Squill cave and talked to the guy and finished in about three hours. I realize I was pretty lucky with my spawns.

I'm having the same issue with this farmer on Kauri. I think he got drunk and wandered far away..

I just did these 4 quests on an alt toon that I have just last week...and I found 3 farmers all within 30 mins of starting. Yes I consider that lucky

I used the Himfan wps and started north and headed south towards Bestine. I also used the flash speeder rather than a swoop to go as slow as possible

On Bria, I searched for the farmer for almost a week. I finally found him stationary North of Bestine. There are some mountains there, and I found him in the midst of a HUGE spawn of various creatures. I had to fight off a large number of creatures, and then I could finally talk to him. I got my mark though! Yay!

Yea I just finished this quest a few days ago. Overall it was pretty painless. Let me help you understand your experiences.....

Ok first off, go here and look up the waypoints where your farmer buddy should be. Make a grid and patrol this grid immediately after serverreset (or when it should have taken place, /shakefist devs). You should also run a macro when looking for him, like /target moisture; /macro tgtfarmer;so as soon as he's in range youll lock onto him. Also running on foot with travel biscuits is the way to go. This method works for the boar and the pirates as well. Good luck!
