I keep seeing people with these "Live Event" Badges. When are they?

I've heard there is a system message all across the galaxy when they happen...but I've been on line only to find out afterwards that they happened...so I must have missed that system message

also...are they on 1 particular day ...like every Friday?

i got one where imperials spawned with at-st and the 150k-300k ham storm troopers outside coronet,corellia then placed rebel recruiters outside it.and also reb npc's spawned everywhere too.I also got the one where tusken took over bestine and the halloween one where spiderclan invaded coronet.

To my knowlage they are random and the only way to know about them is if you get messages from youg guild or friends etc. I got one not sure how I did try to race to an event once but little was happning when I got there so I walked around a bit then left but the badges is there. I like to see more it's a cool element of the game.

They are usuallyrandom.I have participated in two (Droid Invasion, Rebel spawn inBestine) but I had never got a badge from them

I think "Droid Invasion" had been advertised in the SWG Official Web.

the "live events" apparently only take place when im not online.

seriously SOE, what happened to all the promises of digiteers, massive events, and online realtime quests?

great..so Ive missed all of them...silly me. I thought there was just 1 live event to date

when were these events?
