Thread: Can't Start/Complete SWG Survey

Wow some survey then - either you can't participate or won't due to quality of the site. Hello Devs! How much is being paid for this I wonder? Why not start a survey thread like the daily bug/issues? I'm sure you would get a decent set of responses and some honestanswers. You would only need to supply some folks to compile the results and don't forget to put out a feeler into in-game mail so you don't just get feedback from the trolls.

Anyone else get an email to participate in the SWG satisifaction survey? I start by clicking the link sent to my email account and am asked for my age/gender then an error message that says "There are no tests currently available.". Hard to collect meaningful feedback that way

This is probably because they put a cap on the Age/Sex metrics for better diversity in the returns. They can have 10s of 1000s of 18-25 yr. old men answer, but very few 18-25 women... so to gather as much of a varied opinion as possible, they capped the age groups.
I filled out the survey with my wife's information, and it let me in w/o a problem (same age group, but female).

Ya know after an hour and almost being done I gave up on that test.. They need to get a real server if they are going to do that long of a survey. Couldnt have completed it in 10 mins easy if I didnt have to wait 30-60 secs for every page to load. Horrible and I wont take another survey until they fix it.

Exactly! I gave up on the survey too....just took entirely too long.....I had better things to do anyway....Like play SWG!

Not only could I not participate in this, but when I cancelled my SWG account this morning it didn't let me fill out the "exit interview".
If they don't care why I'm dissatisfied, well that lets me know that quitting's the right thing to do.

Lol, thats hilarious. It reminds me of Homer, praying to God and asking for a favor from him. He said that if God agrees with him, then to send no sign.
Statistically, getting responses from a cust svc survey is at about 10% on average. I did surveys for my company that had a response rate of 79%. That was amazing. I made it easy for them to respond by clicking boxes and hitting the reply button in the email. If you make it too hard, you've not only NOT gotten a response, but created hostility so if there was a next survey, you can guarantee bad marks.
system requirements for survey:
TRS-80 Color Computer with 1Gb memory and Appletalk protocol. (with Chinese language pack factory installed)
