Thread: How do you improve stats on products when crafting I am confused – questions

I am a Master Artisan so that means I can make vehicles however I am inexperienced with a lot of things considering I am a month old player.

A friend asked me to make a AV-21 Landspeeder and provided me resources. His resources were 999 SR (Shock Resistance which is and only stat for vehicles) So I take his resources and went to “Public” Crafting Station and created AV21 via ProtoType method. It came out success and He generated it and it showed up we took a look at it – it showed 1915/1915 (decay stats). He then mentioned that numbers isnt what he wanted. I was puzzled. He was hoping to get approximate 2800/2800 like his friend claims to have.

So we figured it was because of “Public” Crafting Station. So I bought 43.43 Crafting Station plus 14.93 Crafting Tool so figured that might help and installed the crafting station at my house. So with same resources, SR 999 quality, We proceeded thinking we should get better results. Created prototype and it came out thinking it would be better results. So we went outside and generated it and took a look at it , it showed same 1915/1915 so that is very puzzling.

So thinking it has to be done by experimenting, so I look at experimentation window which showed 28%. So I do not know how that works or even how to “improve” stats on anything. Can someone explain how it works and how can I improve so it can be like 2800/2800 for AV-21 Landspeeder – so would hate to waste another powerplant that is expensive part.

Perhaps there is a guide somewhere that you can point me to so I can read on how to do it. Or you can explain right here.

Much Appreciated!!

You have to experiment on the item. Craft the item while standing next to a high value "Droid, Weapon and Generic Crafting Station", and use a high value "Droid, Weapon and Generic Crafting Tool". Select the AV-21 from the list of schematics, and put all the resources in the appropriate slots. When you click "Next", a window should pop up, with the following options:

- Experiment

- Create Item Prototype (or something like that, I don't remember exactly)

- Create Manufacturing Schematic

Select "Experiment" and a new window will appear, and there should be at least 10 yellow (or green, I'm colorblind) bars in the bottom left section, and a horizontal bar in the middle of the screen. That horizontal bar shows the overall effectiveness of the final product. One by one, click on theblue(or purple)boxes on the experimental bar and click "Run Experiment!". If you only experiment on one box at a time, you have less chance of failing, because the risk is lower.

Once you've used up all your experimental points, click "Done Experimenting", and click the "Create Item Prototype" button.

Thanks for replying.

Okay so what does 28% experimentation means? the chance of making it success? or what?

Every item has a maximum value that they can acheive. For example, the best crafting tool is 15.00, so a 95% crafting tool would have a value of 14.25 (15.00 x 95% = 14.25)

I believe vehicles have a maximum health value of 3000, so a 95% vehicle would have 2850 health (3000 x 95% = 2850)

The experimentation % is how close the item will be to the maximum possible value

[I might be wrong on the vehicle health of 3000, but you get the picture]

*understanding more, but still yearns to understand more*

Okay so my 28% experimentation is bad ? when you say 95% there.. that means my 28% experiment is bad? and how do I increase that percentage in experiementation?
