Ok, Iwas thinking about this tonight after getting worked along with a few friends in the first room of the DWB by a Massive Multiple Spawn Bug of 26 Blacksun where there are normally 3-4. It was the same thing that was going on with the Crazed Geonosians in the Geo Caves. Someone kills them once and then they continually respawn if no one comes along to clean the room out regularly. This results in a massive wave of enemies that overwhelm even a good sized group. How are we supposed to tell and help people play this game when the places we send them are borked with a new problem after each patch?
So this is what I was thinking....
What about ingame Quality Assurance Agents (and no, these are not CSR's as CSR's are meant to be ingame assistance for PC's)?
Seems simple enough to set up. These would be watchdogs of the game functionality. They wouldn'tto be on every server although that would be preferable as different servers have different traffic rates so they each react to each patch/hotfix differently (something that may be happening on one server is not happening on others).
Hire 3-6 agents per server being QA'd. One for right after reset, One mid day, and one towards the end of the day (the other 3 are there to assist and possible help speed up the process or to allow the others to take time off and play their own toons). The reason for the different time frames is that what is loaded into the server each day changes dramatically throughout a day of playing and gamer activity. Hire these QA agents from the Player base however, as the everyday players are more familiar with everyday game play than regular CSR's. Enable these agents to set a Live Ingame Godmode. Assign each of them specific and well traveled POI's, Cities, and Locations that may encounter problems. After each patch or hotfix, send them out on to inspect and test each assigned area. If problems are encountered they can then send feedback immediately back to the development team for urgent correction. This would help eliminate the confusion and massive amount of posting about bugs/issues and help streamline the processof correcting issues that are affecting gameplay.
Like I said in the title, I don't know if this is wrong to post or even if it is the right board to do so. I just don't see a set Quality Assurance program in place that is working effectively for the ingame community that enables changes to be made quickly enough to suit the gaming community.
Sincerely,
Taridius

Now THIS is a nice idea!
Put me down on that list of agents, we could use something like this.
A 5 star post!
