There was a Bothan that i saw one day, Incapped, layingint he dirt. I decided what tha hell, i went over there andManaged to heal him. Then, I just kinda disppeared. I didnt like helping newbies, it was too expensive, too time wasting, so i just kinda left. Well the dude found me, andI became a newbiehelper fromthenon. i think that you have to help the younger players int he game, and ya know whatm, hes a master CH andwe sometimes doSquill Hunts together, but the reality is you have to be anewbie helper, it really is a fulfilling processwhenthey become better theny ou are.
I met a newbie who had managed pretty much to get novice pistoleer on his own, had no idea what buffs were, and (I believe) contacted me to ask about where to get decent armor on a budget. He had little cash, so I gave him a set of so-so Ubese one of my crafter alts had been working on. 66% or whatever.
Couple days later he ended up going up to the Corvette with a group of us leetdoods in our uber comp, packing weapons that would make an exploiter drool (though all legal
). Our goal was to get him the badge and an AV if we could.... after we veterans had all died, there was the newbie, in his 66% Ubese armor and a bazaar-purchased DX2, fighting on for 20 mins and making his way all the way to the bridge solo. He got his badge on his own, and everyone's respect.
Any newbie can be the next great player, and he can either be an ally of yours, an enemy, or just some other guy you wish you knew. Always try to spot and help the good ones when you can.
