Thread: I wonder how many people is Light and Medium

I am curious , since I am new to the game and I would like to go with server with most population. I see only 4 servers that has "Medium" and rest of them are "Light".

Eclipse, Bria, and Ahazi are probably your best bet. It's not the best indicator, but you can sometimes judge galaxy size by the number of forum posts.

LOL!!! Its TRUE!!
I read that the devs upgraded the server hardware or something so now more people can have a character on a server at a time so most galaxies are only 'light' now and the more populous servers are 'medium', instead of before where many where medium....unless this is a dev lie and really the servers are emptying...

there are many factors in what cause lag.
it can be customer's side.
I have no lag nonewhatsoever in any server I tried out. I am enjoying the game with no lag. so it could be your connection or perhaps computer *shrugs*

You are wrong my friend. Lag is a major, major issue right now. Im not the only one

*chuckles*.. I never said you are the only one that has lag issues. I am pretty sure 90% of customer base will agree with you that there is lag issue. It exist in every MMORPG really , even in internet as well.
I just logged out. I enjoyed playing and running around with no lag. I even went to Cantina today and experienced no lag. So I guess I am one of lucky ones right now.

This 'lag issues' topic is gettin' way old and useless. We are way off the original topic. So let's focus on the original topic and keep lag issues out of this

well, i think you can bet that the current lag has nothing to do with people's machines. i don't think it has to do with upgraded servers either. this lag is caused by thejtl patch.

oh, just to make an on-topic comment , i play on ahazi, and i've tried the light ones as well, and you can notice a difference in game speed if your machine is on the low side of the specs.

upgraded the servers? dear lord i think they got ripped off, have you noticed how horrible the lag is now

That should be correct, especially chat seems to be badly lagged (about 6 seconds worth of delay), and this has nothing to do with connection speed or ping, as my 140+ ping has the same chat lag as my friend's 70 ping (and I'm from Europe, he is in the states).
