Apparently my screen isn't large enough to run windowed mode without the borderless window option. My question is, how do I minimize the game window with borderless window mode? A lot of times when I play I also have to be doing other things every once in awhile and I'd like to not have to quit and restart the game over and over..

I would THINK (Haven't tried this) you should be able to alt+tab to a different window or the desktop, right click on the icon on the start menu, and click minimize. Alternately, try alt+space when running the game. Most things that brings up the menu that lets you choose "minimize".

To run in windowed mode your desktop resolution NEEDS to be bigger than your game window resolution, and you need to select the windowed option in the launchpad options..
So if your game window is 1024x768
Your desktop resolution needs to be higher than1024x768 so make it like 1280x960

I got it to work with alt-tab..just couldn't remember the button combo..thanks!

so i know if i hit alt enter it should make it windowed mode but it just flashes black and goes back to fullscreen how do i make the window smaller so it will work or open swg in windowed mode?

Try the options menu on in the LaunchPad I think I saw a windowed mode option there somewhere...

How do I get SWG to open in windowed mode? Is there a way to switch between windowed and full-screen during the game?

You have the options to let the game opens in window mode in the Launchpad. But remember to turn off the border if you are using the same resoulution on the game as windows.
In game you can switch between fullscreen and window mode with [alt] + [enter]

In game I used to be able to switch from fullscreen to windowed then back to fullscreen. With the latest patch, it crashes the game for me.
