I've been reading that all the missions are very close to the emperors palace.

But last night I was given a mission where I had to go to 3 planets. The 1st one being at a very remote location.

Have they revised the missions ?

That mission isn't part of the themepark, it's how you start the Imp Corvette missions.

Talk to the last NPC You completed missions for, he/she/it will tell you who the next person to talk to should be
