Seems that I was allowed to /claim my veteran reward a few days ago but all of a sudden I can't? The /claimVeteranReward command does nothing anymore. I couldn't claim it before because I didn't have JTL, however I am going to go buy JTL today.

Question is can I still get the veteran reward even though the command isn't doing anything? If not then I'm definately NOT going to go get JTL.

I believe you have to have JTL to claim the yacht.

You have to have JTl to get the yacht. You cant ly ships without jtl so why would you be able to claim the ship..

I'm saying the box doesn't even show up anymore. I know you have to get JTL to fly it but before when I did /claimveteranreward a box popped up allowing me to select the sorosub. Then it would say "you don't have JTL enabled" or whatever.

Now it doesn't even pop up the box, can I still claim if I buy JTL?

After you buy JtL, install and register your JtL expansion key, and get in game, you can then type in /claimVeteranReward and get your SoruSuub. It will appear as a deed in your inventory. You can then claim your ship and it will go to your datapad. Be aware, the yacht uses 1 lot because the interior can be decorated and will hold 75 items, so it consumes one of your lots.

Because the basic "shared" ground game features already coded into the game were patched in before JtL launched and because anyone with 6 months uninterrupted subscription will eventually qualify for the SoruSuub yacht (IF they have the JtL expansion) they WILL get the yacht, so that box popped up for you even though you didn't have JtL installed yet.

There will evenutally be more "Veteran Rewards" added into the game, both ground and space based, so that is why the Vet Reward popup box is available with or without the expansion installed.

Edit: Also -- you can't get the yacht until you have been subscribed 6 months with no interruptions or cancellations.

Also, there is a problem still with displaying the correct number of days you have toward vet rewards. You can check by using the command:

/getvet

Mine changes daily. Before I got JTL I got the email. I bought JTL and only had 120 days toward vet rewards. Then the next day I had 181 and got the email again so I claimed my reward. Now I have 175. Go figure.

Oh, and as a sidenote, when I only had 120 days displayed (which I knew was wrong) I filed a ticket. The response from the CSR was that I should wait until I had 180 days. I couldn't believe it and added a comment asking if he even read my ticket, to which he responded by closing the ticket. Nice, glad I pay part of his salary.
