To my fellow dial-uppers, a question: Have you been able to play this game since patch 11 went live? I've tried sooooooo many times to download this patch but it'sETA is around 20 hours, and every time I get disconnected it starts all over!!!!! I thought launchpad was able to keep track of download progress now, but it seems I was mistaken--I will get as far as 16 hours left only to have to restart. If I'm missing something, please let me know.
btw, no reason to tell me to get high-speed--if dsl/cable were available in my area, I wouldn't be posting this junk!LOL

Dial up is for newbs.
...or it's the only option available to some--either way it does suck--doesn't matter if you are a newb or vet.

You can use a download resumer like Getright to download the patch from the following location:
File 1
File 2
File 3
File 4
This way, you can resume it when need be, and you don't have to start all over again.
There will still be some small files, like the hotfixes, and you can use these locations for those too. Just replace the file name with whatever the file name the launchpad says it is downloading.
Example: (Put the file name and extension where the stars are.

You're welcome!
I'm on dial-up too, and I was about to throw my computer through the wall after seeing the 24 hour download time.

Yeah, I'm on a 56K too. Maybe it's for Noobs (although I've been playing since a week after launch) but some of us are paying for college and don't have mommy and daddy to pay for our broadband connections. Launchpad has always managed to pick up where it left off for me.The long download times are nasty, but the game is still playable.
