Now that wookies have their armor comparable to composite in terms of benefit, Trandoshan are now the worst race to be stuck with. Considering that with publish 10, all new Jedi will be forced to use their main or spend god knows how many months trying to unlock with their new slot, there's going to be an awful lot of unhappy gamers complaining more than normal about how hard it is to survive.

The majority of these cries for help will be coming from the Trandoshan community, much as this one is. I would best compare the race now to a lesser wookie. We can wear only the same armor parts as a wookie, but we aren't blessed with the higher than normal stat points. All we have to show are some unarmed bouses (which also wookies get) and a 2 hour usage skill which apparently aids our regen rates (but with buffs, this effect is either un-noticeable or canceled out all together)

I therefor propose a much needed fix to our race. Whether it be a simple case of improving our stat pools/stat points, giving us race specific skill mods UNIQUE to our race in combat terms or simply allowing us to wear all armor parts/creating a new wearable item UNIQUE to our race. Something must to be done to aid a suffering group of gamers. We help add immersion to this game, I for one think its time we got something back

um...once you get a jedi you cant wear armor anyways. im bothan and i never wear boots or gloves in pve and in pvp add pants to the list. not to many shots land in those places so its not really a big deal.

what needs to be fixed is: wookiee armor is incredibly light encumberance compared to composite, helmet and chest in comp = around 250-350 mind encumberance, wookiee head/chest = like 100 mind encumberance. wookiee armor should have more encumberance because they have the higher stats.

i myself am a trandoshan, and since they announced that the main character would be required to be the jedi, i quit hologrinding at profession 23 since i have no desire to have a trandoshan jedi, probably woulda ended up sellign it on ebay, if any sucker would of wanted it lol. seriously though, i feel your pain, those LOW mind substats really blow, and i made my main thinking i would be able to eventually get a new character? well we all got the shaft in that regards, i feel worse for wookies and female rodians and such but what can ya do except **edit** on the boards, cause we all know nothing will change and nothing will happen. I am just gonna wait till these stupid quests come out and grind them out in a week by whatever means necessary lol. Im sure these jedi quests are gonna be "mysterious" and unknown and ill be SoL but whatever. im having fun enough time now killing meatlumps outside coronet since the combat rebalance made me unable to solo nightsister slaves or higher lol. just wait till they nerf PvE creatures also and give them insane specials, a level 150 creature will mean insta-death.

So the devs won't do anything eh? How did wookies come by their armor then. All this post needs is enough voices and it shall be tough to ignore. Should this post be deleted will only prove that there is a lack of concern for the race and I shall be cancelling post haste shortly afterwards. I concentrated on unlocking with my trandoshan simply so I could avoid the new unlocking method which while being likely more fun than grinding will also take up MUCH more time (apparently).

Also, I'm not just arguing the case for trandoshan Jedi, but all trandoshan regardless. Out of a massive, typically well build race of scary looking lizard men or a scrawny race of bug freaks with snouts, which would you have said wasbetter suited to combat? Based on this game, you'd have been proven wrong to suggest the prior

wookiees got armor becuase without it they were a completely useless race. they could not pvp or pve for any length of time because they have 0 armor unlike everyone else in the galaxy. trandos have the ability to wear armor,so it wont get changed any time soon. the other species need to be balanced before trandos...humans need their stats toned down so they cant go max 1000 mind in all pools i think it is. wookiees either need higher armor encumberance now that they have it or tone down their stats some. you trandos might have bad mind buf what is it really? my bothan is 1100/600/500 i think that mind sucks cant wear full comp without food or a buff. but what are your other stats like? to max my bothan mind i have 850/300/300 850/600(lowest it can go)/300. to get max mind is a must but 300 other stats right out sucks. deal with what you got, everyone else is.

For me, it's not about being the toughest PvP player out there 'cause if it was I'd be human. So while I'd certainly not complain about improved armor or combat bonuses, I'd rather have some sort of interesting and unique game skill.

For instance, with all the lightsabers runnin' around, how come we don't see more players with missing hands or arms? So, for those who do have an arm cut off, they need to go to pay a ton of $$$ to a Bio-Engineer to create a new one for them. As for Trandoshans, we just grow it back on our own. (I know this is completely unrealistic, but who knows where the Devs will take us down the road!)

Another option would be combat bonuses vs other lizards in the game - like a bonus to hit or + damage against Dragonets and Krayts - or for Trandoshan Rangers, the innate ability to spawn/track a Krayt would be sweet! For Trandoshan CH's, how 'bout the ability to TAME a baby Krayt. Now we're talkin!

I followed the bad advice that it didnt' matter what race you had for the most part, but, for the most part, I dont' regret my Doshan choice. I think he looks far more stylish than the other races and as for mind deficiencies, they do seem a bit harsh compared to the rather cancelled out bonuses, buthe's developed a healthy thirst for brandy and is often spotted munching Ahrisa.

I don't care to complain enough for race specific armor, or some new geewhiz bonus butI really would like the mind substats to come up a bit.

Being a dosh I believe there are 2 things that need to be fixed:

1) We should be able to wear boots and gloves. A composite Helmet conforms to a Mon Cals head but wont conform to our feet or hands? Not to mention other races NEVER get hit on their leggings, always on their boots. giving them pants with 4 more sockets.

2) Regeneration is an absolute joke. it gives us +175 strength for like 5 minutes. if anything fix it so that all 3 ham regen stats are +1000 for 10 mins, or give us more migration freedom.

All we really need is our "regen" ability fixed. I mean, come on, adding 175 to one health secondary for like 2 minutes is regening? Super weak... and super useless. I'd love to wear gloves or boots, but I can't and it doesn't really bother me. Race-specific armor for all aliens is what this game needs. Wookiees have it, that new hammer head race is gonna have it... what about the rest of us?
