Thread: Question from a returning SWG'er

Greetings,

I recently took up the offer of returning for a 10-day free trial to see if I liked the game enough again to warrant purchasing JtL. So far I'm about 50/50, but I've noticed some things have changed. Of them, the only one I haven't been able to get a handle on is the following question..

What changes have been made to the ability to call out pets in large amounts? I remember some of the most fun I had was calling my Probot, my animal, and my 3 Rebel troopers out and we'd go do missions etc. Now, not only have I had to turn in my animal pet for a lower level one, but I can apparently only call out one combat pet at a time.

Was there a change made so you can only have one combat pet out at a time? Or is there a profession you must be in order to have more?

Any explanation/answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Boyks,

I believe that as a non-ch you can have one animal under CL 10 or one droid out at a time. As for the rebel troopers and ch abilities, I will have to let someone else answer that because I am not entirely sure how they are controlled now.

Anyone can call a single CL10 or under pet.
At CH xxx3 you can call 2 pets.
At MCH you can call 3 pets.
Anyone can call a single droid. You can call this droid in any combination with Faction Pets or Animal Pets.
Anyone can call a single Faction Pet. You can call this Faction Pet in any combination with a Droid or Animal Pets.

Faction Pets will not attack anything except opposing faction NPC's, MOB's, or Players.

At MCH, you can run Faction missions by yourself with a merry group of 6 - 3 pets, a FP, a droid, and you.
