Thread: Tuesday Tips – October 26th: New Veteran Reward Slash Command
Each week, Q-3PO started a thread for you to share game tips with fellow players. Tuesday Tips will continue on. Have a little known command you use all the time, a cool place to visit, a trick (non-exploit) to getting more out of the game? Share it here. To get things started:
Find out how much time you have logged as a Veteran
- We have added a new slash command so that you can find out how many "days of entitlement" you have, that is to say, how many days you have accumulated as a veteran.
Type /GetVeteranRewardTime and you will receive a system message that will tell you how many days you have accumulated.

Please post your problems in the appropriate thread. It is important that we collect all the information in one location that everyone knows about. We are updating players as information is made available to us.

Could we get a tip about how to get the launch pad to work properly and patch without freezing, stalling, crashing, or closing without any reason? I mean aside from that windows 95 compatability thing which does absolutely nothing to help.

TH what about the /getVeteranReward command I'm confused. I tried it and it lists 90 days, 180days and 270days rewards. All of them appear to give the same reward ? Does this mean i get 3 rewards??? .... confused I am.
Ok not the same command but very close does that count hehe
This is a confusing interface indeed. As I recall, it seems as though the first dialog selects a 'cutoff', where if you select say the 90 day reward then you are 'applying' that much 'veteran time credit' towards the computation of what rewards you may have, and thatcan limit which rewardsyou are able to choose on the next dialog. I seriously doubt that this "uses up" that time, but for some reason the interface works that way.
However, from space-beta I recall that if you use an option from the first dialog, it becomes 'used up' somehow--so I was a bit concerned that if you chose, say, 270 days from the first dialog in order to get your 180-day reward, you wouldn't be able to get your 270-day reward, should one come into existence...
I'd say, best bet is to choose the 180-day option from the first dialog, to get your sorosuub and have the best chance at any future rewards.

no, just since your account has been active uninterrupted

If I use my 180 day reward, does that subtract 180 days from my total veteran time, so that I will no longer be able to get the 360 day reward, if a 360 day reward does come to light?

are the days "spent" like money? i am eligable for the 360 day reward but if i get it will it "spend" 360 of my days? i wanna get the yacht too, so i dont wanna have to save up for it again if that is the case. if its not then i can just claim the 360, 270, 180, and 90 day rewards right?

if I have 400 days on the books and get the 180 day reward, does then set my days back to 220?

can we have an answer TH?
