Thread: Ithorian armor currently has issues

The crafting of Ithorian armor is -still- bugged and is -still- coming up with completely incorrect resistances for it's "type".
On 28 Oct, I made a glove of each type to test slicing. In doing so, I found lots of oddities. In addition to each of them having Blast as a resist (unchanging 25% on Defender and Guardian), the vulnerabilities and base were also incorrect for their armor types (based on the armor segments used and even based on their placement in the armorsmithing skill tree).
Composite has vulnerabilities of stun and lightsaber and that's what Defender, the Ithorian armor made with composite segs, had on the day it was released and for a few days after. I put some I made on the vendor on Sunday the 24th of October. The segments used were not from the same batch of composit segments, which is why the base is slightly different, but I have the 2 side by side in the screen shot to show the oddity in the resistances covered. These are kinetic layered segments. NOTE: Defender is now in the armorsmith skill tree with Padded (Personal Armor 4). The vulnerabilties resistances (other than the "locked" blast) are the same as for Padded armor.
Defender
Padded has vulnerabilities of heat, acid, stun, and lightsaber and so did Sentinel, the Ithorial armor made with Padded segments, when 11 went live. The one shown on the vendor is from the day 11 went live, the glove is from 28 Oct. The glove and the pants were made from the same run of segments and experimented the same way (max base-line and then the rest into encumbrance). The blast went up like electricity on composite does with similar experimentation. The percentage on the kinetic and base is enough to verify the two pieces were made with the same factory run of segments. NOTE: Sentinel is now in the armorsmith skill tree with Composite (Master). The vulnerabilities and resistances (including the "odd" experimentation results on blast) are the same as for Composite armor.
Sentinel
Lastly... the segments and resources I used for Guardian will reach in the mid 60s for Chitin, experimenting the Special and putting the rest into base. However, the gloves made 28 Oct (and today) reached 80% kinetic! Chitin is vulnerable to blast, acid, energy, stun and lightsaber, but the Guardian gloves made tonight have slightly different vulnerabilities: stun, heat, acid, and lightsaber. The change in vulnerabiities isn't entirely odd, jsut abnormal (Ceremonial has the same reistance types as Chitin so it would be more logical for Guardian to as well).
Guardian at 80% kinetic
Guardian armor should be mid 60s or lower for the kinetic resistance. Chitin has a considerably lower encumbrance than Padded or Composite which can reach 80%. I cannot believe this is intentional.
I am not currently making any Ithorian armor. However, if there is no change to the armors or acknowledgement that they are indeed issues, I would only recommend Guardian to any who would buy armor since with 80% kinetic it would be the most effective for the least amount of encumbrance.

Looks like perfect english to me - If you're not an armorsmith (or weren't one in the past) do you really think you should be passing off smartass comments about this post?
Any armorsmith (or crafter for that matter), or player experienced with USING armor should have no problem understanding what he's saying.

So let me see if I have this right. In short terms:
- Defender armour was nerfed from "Composite - similar" resists.
- Sentinel armour resistances changed.
- Guardian armour resistance is to low.
