They screwed up the Lauchpad and renamed the Billing button to Registering Expansions (or something like that). Hit the button above "edit registration", that will take you to your Billing options. Once you are in Billing Options you can navigate to where you can cancel your account or change how you bill it. IF you are paying by credit card, the only way to change it to game card is to cancel the credit card, then wait until your account won't let you log on (the billing cycle has completed) and -then- go in to enter a game card. I believe you can enter a credit card at any time.

If you are paying by credit card and you want to know what your billing cycle is (whether you want to cancel, change from a credit card, or for any other reason), in the forums (here) click "my account" above the picture. Then go to the billing page. That will show you the last time your credit card was charged. It is charged on that same day every cycle (each month if you are on monthly, every 3 months if that was the option you chose, etc) and prepays the cycle (1 month, 3 months, 6 months, etc).

Now.. here is the kicker. If you cancel your credit card paid account even 1 day after it is billed, you cannot get a refund for the charged amount. Your account will be active until the payment cycle ends. It doesn't matter if you play it during that time or not. You are pre-paying the subscription and there are no refunds. (it really bites if you have it on 3 or 6 months or even longer and decide to cancel or change billing method a day after it was charged, even if you are changing your billing to a longer cycle you're penalised).

Just a word of.. caution. Before you want to change your billing from a credit card or change the duration of your billing, or cancel your account, be sure to look at the billing info on your account. See when you card was last charged. THAT is the start of your billing cycle. If you do not change -before- that date, you will have a full cycle before the change will take effect.

This is for ALL SOE games: EQ, Planetside, SWG, the soon to be released EQ2, and the Station All Pass (or whatever that's called). SOE shares revenue with Lucas Arts on SWG, that's why it is not included into anything related to the other Station games, like an All Pass thingy. However, SOE still does the billing which is why SWG follows the same billing practices as the rest of the SOE games.
