I have heard smugglers can buy faction points. Can some helpful sole tell me how this is done?

Thats it alright. 2 things to remember you cant buy faction from one recruiter unless you have less then 200 faction from the opposite. You can buy or sell to either recruiter if your nuetral but you can only buy or sell to you rrecruiter if you are part of a faction.

if it takes 1kto buy25 fp, and 10k for 125 fp, whats the point of the 10k?

can't u just buy the 1k allotment? or is there something i don't know abou the system?

Yep thats true. Totaly waste of a skill tree as all the rest are now. I have decided to drop smuggler due to the recent nerf beatings

Not only is it true but it seems to only be possible once per faction rank.

Can't you sell your faction points also? Will they pay 10k for 125 faction points?

Can this be correct? I stopped by the local recruiter, and layed out 10k.. In return I got 125 FP? That can't be right. I can get 125 FP on one mission, and make 2k in the process..

Another useless smuggler perk...

Im a new smuggler. Originally got it just for Feign Death. Well I decided to go all the way to Master and was wondering the prices for faction points. What is the ratio? For example how much would 10,000 FPs cost me? thanks

Here's the deal:

You can buy faction in 2 denominations, 1000 credits for 10 faction, or 10,000 credits for 125 faction.

You can only buy faction for yourself until you are at 500 faction points. So, unless you're transferring them off to someone else, the skill is relatively worthless, save for a quick boost after you buy a perk or rank.

What do you mean by quick boost? And I am already at the reank I need to be at to get what I want. I have roughly 2000 faction points. Does this mean I wont be able to buy any more faction points?
