keep checking your force crystal quest journal, when the sith ones disappear from the list, go wait for them again, they should return and give you another disk or two.
This happened to me this morning.

This happened to my friend and the sith spawned again later on. This second time he had the same problem! So again he just continued on his own business and they spawned again for the 3rd time. This time, the datapad worked correctly. Talk about bugs!

Put the disk in a backpack, then take it out and try using it again. If that doesn't work, try trading it to one of your friends, then trade back and try the disk.

just happened to me, gonna log off for 10 min then log back on and see if i get attacked again

Come on this morning at 9AM GMT , 3PM the sith lot appear and i get the disc... So go to use it... "You Must Loot.." Next thing out of my mouth isn't printable on a public forum. So it appears ill have to see if they appear again. For once SONY, could you get something right, just once is it too much too ask? because its appearing it is.

I got the same message, I just placed the disk in my back pack and then got the message that I complated the missions and was able to use the disk then.

Tried that, didn't work, in the backpack and back out, etc.. Im logged out now, these little bugs are the most annoying in the game.

Log in this morning before going to work. Take the shuttle to Echo base, attacked about 10 seconds later and loot the datapad. Said you must loot this item before using it.DOH... Take the shuttle back to MN and attacked the 2nd time about 10 seconds later, loot the datapad again. Again it said you must loot this first before using it. DOUBLE DOH.... Take the shuttle to Echo again, attacked for the 3rd time, but this time I keep my inventory open and loot the datapad. This time it worked and gave me the wpt to teh Sith base........
If you have probelms with this keep your inventory open when you loot. I have seen this problem before in doing other quests.

Okay, I have the same problem EXCEPT I've past the part where the sith attack, and the datapad I got from them led to the sith camp. Now after looting the SECOND datapad along with the resource items, I got the 'must loot' error, which is the one that is supposed to give me the waypoint to the village. I've tried everything i can think of using backpack, house, bank, logging out for 20 minutes, server reboots, traveling and nothing works. I wont be reattacked because I've passed that stage already, my current uncomplete mission is to 'investigate the waypoint found on datapad' .. which is the sith camp .. but i investigated and slain and cant get that to retrigger. Cant gamemasters reset missions or replace bugged items or something?

Alright .. problem solved. I stored the broken datapad at my house, relogged, returned to the planet the sith attacked on and received a new waypoint to the camp. After completing the camp, the new datapad worked and gave me the village waypoint. -whew-
