does the chance of landing a successful Kd relate to the accuracy of the player with the weapon he is using and the kd defence of the target.......does anything else come into play here?

A TKM can KD a krayt.....is it because they have very high accuracy?

it has to do with the victims defense vs. KD. krayts and other high end mobs have very high denfense vs. KD

but lets say a pistoleer using smuggler low blow with an accuracy of 200

and a tkm with ac 200

have same chances of Kd an opponent?

does damage / type of weapon come into play?

does the def vs posture change (down) come into play, most likly lol

i would think this is the place to ask, since kd is not profession-specific. and just ignore 1-star ninjas. i'd help but i have only a little information, such as i believe kd's and posture changes can be done only once every 30sec.. no idea how success rates work

I would beleive that the chance of ladning ANY attack is a function of your accuracy, and the opponent's Ranged/Melee Defense. Once the hit for sure occurs, the chance of it landing a knockdown would be a function of Dev vs Knockdown, and possibly Defense vs Posture Down.

i found i had trouble knocking rancors down with low blow, it seemed a lot worse than tkm's knockdown. i think its a hidden stat, but a set number for the move, and affected only by the opponents def v knockdown

also don't spam KD as they will pop right back at ya, do it once if KD's kill, if gets back up KD again

I can kd with Swords and Im not brawler, and it works on everything just about. Just do hit 3 until they are dizzy then perform a sweep and they will fall 80-90% pf the time.
