I am thinking of mapping ESC key to do something else, and I like to map "get rid of the in-focus window" or "cancel/exit/done" to another key.

I think the only way to do that is /quit because there is no uppermost window. Any window that can be closed has an X on it.

I've got a macro idea in mind for this.


I'd like to do something like this:


/ui action closeTopWindow; (if it exists)

/diagnose;


... to keep all those diagnose windows from piling up!
