Thread: Why are all the good things bad?

I love the game, don't get me wrong. But why is it that everything rare or unique has to suck. There is so much sameness in this game it makes me sick. Everyone (for obvious reasons) always goes for the "best" equipment, and therefore everyone looks exactly the same: like composite-clad fencers with AV-21s.


No one in their right mind would actually wear Mandolorian or RIS in combat. And now we've got the flash speeder. Neat? Sure. But I hear it's actually SLOWER than the standard landspeeder. I'm not asking to be top of the heap here just for pre-ordering from the right place. But couldn't it at least be as fast and durable as a speeder bike? Why would I want to be caught in this death trap?

I don't agree with your first paragraph, I want to live so I buy the best gear possible.

However your second is right on. I know I'm being impolite complaining about a gift, but could this thing be any slower?

ok you have valid points everyone wants to be the best, this is quite easy to accomplish, what is lacking is imagination on the developers part they could make lots of diffrent armro hey they could even have player submitted ones all taking the same stuff as comp but with a diffrent look, mods and stuff for you AV-21 etc make it look a lil diffrent would be nice, it's the little things that matter

Yeah, this is a longtime complaint. All the stuff that actually fits into the star wars motif is crap. ST armor is useless next to composite. There just aren't any alternatives to composite, so we are left with clone wars
