The name is Xavos (pronounced Zavos if you couldn't figure it out) a Trandoshan Teras Kasi Master. You could consider me a wandering monk of sorts.

Felbacca- Male Wookiee

Yeah I know I borrowed part of Chewy's name, but I wanted to make my real nickname (Fel) Wookiee sounding

I apologize, but we all knew that if this thread was a hit, I would get too much volume to spend enough time on them all. Of course, if you want to discuss your name further, I am always willing to talk.

Felicity Arnaphor

It's risky using double meaning names....Felicity can go both ways. In my humble opinion, this one works. I feel a little jittery, but I wouldn't want to ruin the mix you came up with.

Coeus Slaba

Be from a Core world with this name. The Slaba name is a bit of a clinker in my ear, but the Coeus screams Latinate, so you got to be Core World human with this one.

Dracis Reptilis

Are we trying to use a Latin scientific name? If so, you haven't quite captured the essence here of your name. With the repeated -is/-is you don't quite make a name. Modify some vowels and you will do better, but really, how many Trandoshans are going to be going around called reptile? How many humans allow themselves to go around being called Ape? Hmm, I'll have to say no on this one.

Slatem Adepe

Nice sound in the last name, and it makes your sound much more "adept" than before. I think you made an interesting almost-nickname here, and it passes. Slay them adept, indeed.

Murasame Sylvssk

I think I've talked about Japanese names here, but if I haven't I would have to suggest you avoid that appearance. This is not anime, manga, or hentai -- it's Star Wars, and Star Wars seems to not like Asians. Sylvssk is a great last name that could have been given by a friend who is conversant in Basic.

Calix Medeeo

OK, so your name is "cup"? Or is this a tribute to independent artist Mira Calix (I may see that in the last name)? At any rate, it is a little harsh sounding being a straight Latin word that has some currency still in our shared language. Caleks may work, or Cileks, or some other phoneticification. The last name is...ok, but strikes me wrong somehow. Drop me a line if you want to work on this name, as I'm intrigued.

Sevaccawarr

Yes. The Ss sound may be impossible for a Wookiee...maybe, maybe not, but you did a good job combining some of the basic sounds that make up a Wookiee name. This one passes fine, with only the initial sound being off.

Layne Wayladder

Yes. And I will remember it.

Dagny Pritbor

Ok, drawing on memory here...but this is definitely from some Scandanavian language...perhaps...Norwegian?You may want to consider mixing up some of the vowels to retain that color, but changing it from a phrase. Here's an example of what I mean. Dark Warlord is NOT a Star Wars name, but Darik Wirlerd is more acceptable.

Holiday

Doc Holiday...I get it. Funny. But, unfortunately, it's immersion distracting.

Sidemeus

Overtly Latinate or Grecian names bug me because they are not in the main tradition of Star Wars naming. And really, Sidious is one guy, and I don't think mommies will want to name their kids this, and friends won't think it's cool to nickname someone after the Dark Emperor of the galaxy. I see how you had to change it, and would advise you to change it more.

Jakkin Darkstrider

Yes, and I don't see a need to change anything about it.

Aghokala Rasho

I would need to look this one up, but isn't Aghokala a famous Thai king? Hmm. The fix for clannification for your last name is simple. Kevin J. Anderson (may he burn in writer's purgatory forever, but I digress) established some basic rules for Twi'leks which are a little wacky but fine. I would use R'asho as the least unfortunate of the possibilities (Ra'sho..no, Ras'ho...double no, Rash'o...well, no).

Shinrai

Again with the Asian names. This one I may even be able to find in my big book o' names. At any rate, I would suggest otherwise.

Loronar Silverhelm

And here I was frothing at the mouth to ding you on this. Well, your backstory covers what otherwise would be a common error, which is humanification of very, very alien aliens. You may want to look up what Loronar means also. You will likely be intrigued. Also, I would like to buy stock in your starship company .

Axl

...Rose? Hmmmmm. No. Sorry. A musician of course.

Xris

I don't have the source in front of me, but ol' Uncle George stated in one of his older documents a strong distaste for names that rely heavily on Xs and Zs just to make them look alien. Now, I am not saying you intended this here, but this is how it looks from where I sit.

DuoMaxwell

This name would need a good backstory to save it, I'm afraid. Simply put, it doesn't flow well, and I don't catch a meaning from it to work with it. Maybe more information would help here.

Aspir Kiraz

Fine name. Aspire to even greater names, without hammering us with hidden meaning

Xavos

See above about "x" names. But that being said, who knows what wandering reptilian monks like? My guess is...names they can pronounce.

Swepa Codo

Interesting name. Other than it's lack of Twi'lek clan character, I don't see anything to dislike. It's not euphonious, but it's not dissonant either.

Felbacca

-bacca has been established in the literature as a common Wookiee ending, maybe like "-ton" on a town name. So all is well, but I am trying to imagine Chewbacca wrapping his lips around the initial "F."

Until again!

Aghokala Rasho, female Twi'lek.

I didn't find out about the Twi'lek naming traditions until after I created the character. But I think it rolls off the tongue nicely anyway.

But hey, the name gen gave it to me

Was going to use Reggar Blane (signed up for beta using that), but when it came to character creation at the release date, my roommate wanted us to play brothers.

We got Desmond and Darin Algood.
