To enable in game cut and paste (chat) go to options and controls.. select keymap at the bottom.. then choose the "chat" tab.
You are after the ChatCopyText, ChatCutText, ChatPasteText.. you cant map them to ctrl-c/v/p as you have in windows without remapping the in game functions already mapped to those keys.. but you can map to any free keys..
Caveat: this only works with the windows clipboard and the chat boxes.. you cannot copy/paste info off of item examine windows etc..

Always use your Waypoint Monitor in place of the Onscreen Waypoint Arrows. Just go to your Options screen (CTRL-O) and select Interface and then check the Use Waypoint Monitor and uncheck the Show Arrrows to Waypoints Onscreen.
Actually, to clear things up, it's under the Misc tab, not Interface.
As for my tip, the /mailsave command will save your mail into a folder in your install directory.
Thanks for clearing that up. I'm quoting it again, so people get it right. That's what I get for posting my tip without checking first.
Here is the work around.
Hit the ALT key twice. Then you will be able to check the accept button and complete your trade.
Enjoy!

No I'm not sure. I'll verify that. It's great to hear that it also works with TestCenter, Sutarion. Thanks! And yes, Community Veterans now have the ability to Edit Posts (however, we can easily view history on your changes, so don't try to abuse it...)
On a separate note, the Chat Servers are maintained by another department at SOE (not SWG). This change did not affect the development team of SWG one bit. (In fact many of the developers are just as pleasantly surprised as you are about it).
Q, sorry to hijack the thread, but what makes one a Comunity Veteran? I have edit, but I have been around since beta. Is a veteran an amount of time member, or a minimum # of threads written?
Here's a good couple of little hints:
When comparing weapons, make sure you concider their Armor Piercing level, and damage type. AP heavy rifle will outdamage an AP none pistol with the same damage ranges and speeds.
Also, it's often a good idea to have several different damage types available. I myself carry (pistols):
Energy
Kinetic
Stun
Damage
Heat
Acid
And a small pile of grenades, for blast damage.
Even though some of those do less damage, against 'vunerable' targets, they are more effective than the heavily resisted weapon types.
Always use powerups. They are cheap, and well worth it.
Finally, concider your own bonuses when purchasing weapons. A Bounty Hunter with the pistoleer speed tree can use a slower weapon and still be at the speed cap of 1 second due to all the speed bonuses. More information on exactly how speed mods effect weapon speed is available in the class specific forums for the marksman elite classes. Check the faq's most of them sticky at the top.
