You can remove from your friends list, just type in /removefriend Server.Name and they are gone.

Remember, if you get an error, try capitalizing the first letter of the server name and it will work, if they're not online, you'll get a soandso is not online message.

Cant remember that exact command? Remember this is a UNIX platform, <TAB> is your friend...

enter the first few letters of a command (/pistol) and hit <TAB> and you will see the options for completing the command..if only one exists, it will complete on the text line...

At this point, it wont work for commands with spaces (/ui action)

Maybe its common knowledge...but when I discovered it I was quite happy.

Love these Tuesday Tips threads?

Want to find an easy way to "keep an eye on them"?

Near the top of the page inside the thread you want to keep an eye on, click "thread options", it should be right near the reply button.

You can now click "Add this thread to my bookmarks" or "add this thread to my subcriptions".

Now go to the root of the forums (I do this buy clicking on "Star Wars Galaxies Forums" in blue right above Reply and Thread opotions).

You should now see all of your subscribed and bookmarked threads, PLUS, how many UNREAD messages there are in that thread!

Now if someone would care to tell me the difference between a subscribed thread and bookmarked thread, I'd be much obliged!

I don't think so, Kadgarth.

  • People reached post counts in the thousands well before any vets were around

  • Some people have more posts than I do and are still considered as "members"

So I guess it must be a mix of post counts, time registered, time spent online and post view count

Just used thecross-server telltoday for the first time. Very cool feature. HOWEVER, server name is case-sensitive. Found this out after several frustrating minutes

And why not? Because of my post count, that's too bad. I've been here since day one, /sigh
