You die, so a brand new body emerges with a full stomach.
// Your BRAND NEW body also has the equipment that should still be on your OLD DEAD body, are you suggesting
// reactivating corpse runs since it makes more sense
// Add to that, you had a certain amount of xp and skills when you stored your clone information. When you dies, somehow
// the clone data is updated with the new xp and skills you learned AFTER storing the data. Are you suggesting we lose all
// xp and skills gained between the time we store clone information and die?
Your buffs are removed.
Your stomach is full, preventing you from re-acquiring your previous enhancements, after the fact that you just died and therefore lost those enhancements. Not to mention you are somewhere you werent before, most likely thousands of kilometers away from your previous position...
// The issue is not timed buffs but instant buffs. Being able to use instant food/drink buffs as soon as you die is easily
// exploitable. It is not the cose of Havla that prevents docs from using it continuously but the food filling. If you use Havla
// speed buff some people, get killed and cloned, and can use Havla right away, then this would be an exploit. Again it is
// the instant buff not the timed buff this is created to avoid
1)
I eat food.
I receive benefits.
My stomach gets full.
2)
I cannot eat more food until my stomach empties, to prevent imbalance in food usage.
3)
My benefits are timed.
// Not all benefits are timed.
My stomach slowly empties.
I can consume more food and obtain more benefits after my stomach as emptied X-required amount.
If my benefit ends but my stomach is still full, I have to wait until my stomach empties before I can refill it and gain further benefits.
Ok. The above makes logical, rational, and linnear sense.
No argument there.
The argument comes when:
4)
I am slain.
My Benefits are gone.
My stomach is still full...?¿
I must wait for a new body containing my oldstomachs contents(somehow against all logic and reason) to empty, before I can replinish new foods with new benefits?
// On the other hand, you keep the skills you llearned between the time you stored cloned data and died. You also do not
// need to make a corpse-run since in "reality" your stuff would still be back at your body.

I pretty much stop reading posts on this topic after OmniDo's reply. What he said holds most validity over anything other posters OR devs can say about having a full stomach being needed to create a balance. I can see the servers explode and the economy blown to shrapnel if ever players were allowed to Drink or eat directly after cloning. Game balance? No ok maybe faster crafting. Maybe faster buffing. But crafters still have to SELL thier items. Can that be done in the time it takes to eat or drink an item? NO! And god forbid that doctors buff faster or medics heal wounds faster. And noone wants a TKM to drink a brandy straight out of the cloning center. That would bring fire and brimstone to SWG's I know. OmniDo reigns this argument. No + to cloning and having an empty stomach that would imbalance the game. It takes away more than what benefit you recieve. I cant believe people are aguing this matter on the side that its an exploit and SHOULD still be implemented.
Dont get me wrong, if its not fixed or changed no big deal. Its not going to make or break my weekend. But its not a majorexploit for gods sake. If you INSIST on calling it an exploit go ahead. But 95% of people will be against you. Not because your wrong about it being an exploit, but because its so dang petty that your defending such a little teeny tiny "exploit"
Leana said in her reply to OmniDo, something along the lines of...if you have your equipment with you still why not have a full stomach----
Heres something to think about---if your equipment decays a little why doesnt your stomach Empty a little? Just a little.
The thing is this. The devs call it cloning because thats the only thing remotely close to the star wars universe that would explain coming back to life. You dont lose skills. You dont lose xp unless your a jedi.(not even gonna get into that one so noone try Please) You Do lose buffs which are instantly applied. You Do lose credits. You DO lose time. COME ON PEOPLE agument over. Its not a friggin exploit if you can eat or drink after cloning an exploit is something you can do to gain not lose. The devs have a hard time juggling everything as it is, and this is just one of those things. Its not an exploit, and thats not why they have it like that. Its just how the paintball splattered on the wall so to speak its gonna stain like that. Weigh it out. Hehe its kinda fun to check in on these post during server maintenance and get into it about dumb stuff. Does pass the time

FYI...there ARE ex-lax food/drink out there...will dump one stomach or the other in exchange for filling one. Think the drink that empties food is called Tilla'Til
