- if you have to go afk for some time and don't want to loose your buffs being booted by the system usea macro like this:
- /pause 120;
- /sit;
- /pause 120;
- /st;
- /ui action toolbarSlot00;
with this macro you aren't spamming you friends chat who are around and you keep yourself in game
Update Notes: Test Center - November 2, 2004
Version: 104303.104305Space UI
- Added Ctrl-J as a default key to open the quest journal when on the ground
Excellent news, that means I can get rid of my macro.
About the keymap, I dont remember seeing the keypress map for it when I originally set it up, so maybe it was added recently, I'd been using the macro in JtL beta for a while and they made changes to the UI to add the journal button, but since I'd already got mine setup I hadn't bothered to check on it again, and of course I didnt know the new Ctrl+J keypress was going in when I wrote my reply since the patch notes hadn't been posted.
Well, I really like the badges, but I do agree they make the bio page quite long. I wish there was simply a seperate tab for badges and for the bio, much like City of Heroes has.

Any chance you guys will ever move the bio to the top of the /ex character window, or suppress badge display? Or at least make it optional, perhaps on a badge-by-badge basis? A character who's been playing long enough (been to all the POI's or who hologrinded through every prof trying to unlock) creates a pretty long list of badge clutter. I'd like to see a greater emphasis placed on the bio.
Otherwise an excellent tip, TH. We need to see more colorful & detailed bios out there.

Ok you space junkies. I just learned something totally awsome.
No longer are we victims of the targeting angle bug with the top/bottom invunerablity.
On your screan in space, there is a little yellow dot in the center of your targeting system. never moves.
The enemy has a second little yellow dot that follows him around.
The trick of it all is to get those two pesky little dots on top of each other. the closer the better and you will score hits like never before.
I have tested this multiple times now. Try it out, and see if it works.
No more mister nice guy dying in space. time for a little revenge.
the problem is a tad bit more complicated than that, no matter how close to the little dot you get you cant hit the ship
hmmm a tip...
oh, go to your holocron
click on customer service
click on the 3rd tab "top known isuses" at the top
here you can see what bugs the devsare currently aware of
devs should really advertise this more

I have seen several different suggestions for a mount/dismount toggle alias, but this is what I use:
/target x34;
/pause .1;
/target speeder;
/pause .1;
/target flash;
/pause .1;
/target AV-21;
/pause .1;
/dismount;
/mount
This will work with all vehicles, and if you added a separate /target line with your pet's name (including the parentheses), it would even work for creature mounts.
My mount dismount macro goes like this!
/maskScent;
/pause .5;
/mount speederbike;
/mount speederbike swoop;
/mount flash speeder;
;
/dismount speederbike;
/dismount speederbike swoop;
/dismount flash speeder;
it works perfect for me!
