Thread: Tuesday Tips November 30th – Taking off and Landing at the Emperor's Retreat

So a rebel (ground factioned) RSF pilot can land at the emporer's retreat and basically have access inside the retreat? Does this mean those same rebels can walk around inside the retreat while overt or tef'd? I hope this option is only available to neutral or imperial factioned RSF pilots. If not, this is a serious oversight. Some official word on this would be nice..
BTW, despite what's described in this post, the patch notes state:
Players of the RSF or Imperial track that have completed tier one can do a quest to get access to the Emperor's retreat without doing the ground Theme park missions.
Why are the other two imp squadrons exluded from this?

Where does it say only Inquisition?

Yes, but the patch notes state otherwise. It simply says "imperial track".

It seems rather obvious to me. In RL military, not all branches and not all squads have equal access at every security level. Seems the Emperor trusts the Inquisition more than the other squads.
As for covert rebel RSF forces sneaking in, that's just the point. They're COVERT spies. If they're COVERT rebels, how do you know they're actually rebels? The fact that you have a little dot on your radar telling you this or that doesn't negate the Roleplaying aspect of potential spies. It's a matter of Metagaming vs roleplaying: you as a player know more than your character actually would know. I love it.

the main point is the RSF wouldn't be allowed in in the first place, think you are the current ruler of the galaxy and there are treaturous people all over teh galaxy, would YOU let RSF people intoYOURHOMEwhen anyone can join the RSF...

Well as an RSF to gain complete trust of the empire you will of course be committing mass murder from the prespective of the Rebel alliance in the number of your allies you kill and in that you do kill a capital ship full of people. So while you might be a spy for the Rebellion - the Rebellion may not like you.

Alrighty, I did the first deal for the Naboo station. I now have the option to land at the Retreat. Since I've not got the access to reach the starship terminal in the retreat, how do I get my ship back? Please tell me I've missed something.Completing the mission should give you both the option to land at the retreat, and full access to all the areas in there, even if you haven't done the retreat theme park. The NPCs inside are a little rude if you try talking to them without being a declared Imp, but you should be able to go through all the doors without getting bounced out.
The other confusing bit I ran into (I played with this on TC, and have never actually done the Emp's theme park) was that the doors blend in with the wall textures, so they can be a little tough to spot. Try orienting off the overhead map, you should be able to get to the terminals in the back rooms.
I've got the door I need and the terminal location spotted. It simply won't let me in. I had done a couple of the quests previously and I can only get as far as those allow me. Perhaps there is a conflict with being only part way done. I might try resetting my Naboo quests and see if that makes a difference.

You talked to the Imperial pilot just outside the main entrance by the pile of rocks?
