Thread: Star Wars Names: The Name Doctor is IN!
Starphire Elation
I think "Elation Starphire" is more starwars-ish but i would rather people call me star then L.
I am a doc/carbineer human.
My other chars name was "Bindy Balaroo" which it hink was very starwars-ish hehe.
I feel like I shouldn't, but . . .
Luathu'lisk, a male Twi'lek fencer/musician. (I'd read things about personal and clan names being run together in traditional Twi'lek names, but obviously I hadn't yet learned about /tell convenience.)
I don't have access to my backstory here, but the short version of the character history I wroteis that he spent a prettyunremarkable youth on Ryloth, taking up music to avoid getting into either the slave trade or his family's tedious business. He managed to get a scholarship--probably a more informal arrangement than the word "scholarship" suggests, actually--to an offworld music academy, but thatevaporated as part of reshuffling within his clan (in the wake of hishead clan dying). Not being a good enough student to find another way to carry on, and anyway feeling about as aimlessoffworld as he had back on Ryloth, he dropped out and bought a ticket back home. But he got into sort of a weird bar fight right before leaving; instead of backing out and being diplomatic, he decided he'd at least go down without taking any ****. So he got stomped, picked himself up, changed his ticket for anywhere but Ryloth, and wound up on Talus. The idea is that he's kind of a weird dropout, by Twi'lek standards: he's generally polite and diplomatic, he's also a bit self-destructive, inclined to conflict and confrontation. I guess he has some self-esteem issues.
Heh, neat thread.
N'hil Vis - male Zabrak, bounty hunter
The name is derived from my DAoC Void Eldritch's name, 'Nihil Vis' being very, very bad latin for 'power of nothing'. I play SWG with people from my DAoC guild so I wanted them to have an easy time associating the characters.
I believe the 'Vis' is correctly pronounced 'wees' or something to that effect in latin but everybody has always said 'viz' when reading it so that is how I think of it now.
Does is make a very good Zabrak name? Is there a lot of source material for Zabrak names?
thanks.
I'll try this again:
Krannowark
Male Wookiee Rifleman/Two-Handed Swordsman/Scout
Vyx It'yka
Male Bothan Artisan
Nyctasia Ravenwood. (Novice Combat Medic/Pistoleer)
The first name comes from a fantasy series called Silverglass which I started reading again just before SWG came out. Ravenwood just sorta popped into my head.
GLM
These are the characters played by my wife, daugher, and myself...
Shamera Kye - Human Male
Aza Mwasa - Human Female
Fifi Houyhnhnm - Bothan Female
Hmmmm.... I'll go for this.
Antanh LeMacri
LeMacri is an Imperial (human, of course) from Gerrard V (although he now resides on Naboo). Marksman going for Commando, but hopefully will become a TIE Interceptor pilot when the space expansion comes out. His backstory (or future story, as it really hasn't happened yet) indicates that LeMacri is a pilot in Helix Squadron, under the command of Kasan Moor. If you become bored or have nothing better to do, I have two other characters: Barium Khazad (a Twi'lek artisan) and Volkavoy (a Wookiee who, if he was played nearly as much as originally intended, would be going for Teras Kasi Artist, Squad Leader, and a bit of Rifleman).
-Volkavoy
Interesting topic, here is my SWG character:
Falkrynn Sindar Human Male Pistoleer
