I would also like a different set of quests to get my second slot, i am also doing the jedi quets to get my 2nd character, i dont want to be a jedi all that much and may drop it if i can when i get the second slot.

Your missing the point on the second slot. They give it to Jedi so people can take a break away from their character every now and then but still be able to play the game. Like when a jedi gets on bounty hunter terminals, he has to wait 3 weeks to get off. Also to give the jedi a way of credits and way to get crystals and resources. Because jedi are suppose to be in hiding so they can't do missions as well.

I agree with HardwireXMan, before publish 9 the devs gave extra slot for jedi so it wouldn't mess up their main character. Plus the second slot was strictly jedi at the time, you couldn't have any other skills. Then they decided to change the system but didn't want to take away the second slot because that would be unfair and make a lot of people mad that was in the middle or near the end of the holo grinding.

Iwouldn't mind if they added another quest to unlocksecond slot but i don't think they will, you should just be glad that they decided to let jedi have other skills or we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

well i agree with being able to drop jedi but at the end of the day loseing 24 skill points to gain 250 skill points and 10 lots and the extra bank storage is a dam good deal and no one actually makes you use a saber or force powers (if im right wareing just 1 piece of armour ie boots will stop you being able to use powers or the saber?)

also if we are talking about not grinding as much to get the second account then that raises an issue of unfairness on people that have already unlocked for the second slot...

I'd go for what the original poster is saying... I'd definately give up all chance at jedi to get a second slot. I'm a crafter but wouldn't mind also being able to hunt with my friends and associates on my server. Still, hunting with them is damn hard if you are DE/SW/Artisan.... I couldn't do the quests if I wanted.
