WARNING DO NOT ADD FRIENDS FROM ANOTHER GALAXY
I cant believe you posted how to do this... First off let me say, if you want to add a friend from another galaxy it doesnt tell you what galaxy they are on. AND to make maters worse, When you want to delete the friend from your list, YOU CANNOT! It says that name does not exist, because of course it doesnt exist if that person isnt on your galaxy. CSRs CANNOT FIX THIS ISSUE which means they told me the ONLY WAY to fix this is to blank out your friend list and start fom scratch.
DO NOT ADD FRIENDS FROM ANOTHER GALAXY
I have confirmed this on multipule accts, and chars on other galaxies.. This is a BAD BUG, I cant believe they posted how to add friends to your friend list. I am totally annoyed I cant delete those friends and they haunt me because they enemies now and I have to see them on my list that I cant remove.
IDEA
How about fixing this bug then posting how this works. But until this is fix, heed my warning once you add a friend from another galaxy you cannot delete them. Wow I am shocked a dev posted this garbage...
BTW I am not bashing anyone here, I am clearly making a point for the Dev and SOE to understand that this is a major problem and needs addressing. I just find it funny they tell you to do this yet its bugged!
.....umm... look two posts up......you can delete them.........
Also, nice catch on double tipping...... I thought we saw this tip before here....
Why is it a paid CSR of SOE cannot give me the same info a player has given to us? I think is problem with lack of knowledge, which is half of the reasons why so many things go undone when it comes to fixing issues. They can do it, they just dont know how. I think this is proof

So if you friend has the same name in 3 galaxies, you will only see that they are online but will not know what galaxy it is![]()
To get around this put in the comment section what galaxy it is.
Lol, did they actually fix the comment field? It used to not save anything you put in there, are you saying this works now? has it been tested successfully?

So I made my alias tdz (which stands for Tell DrZoiberg) and it looks like this:/tell europe-chimaera.drzoidbergI had to type this to create the alias:/alias tdz /tell europe-chimaera.drzoidbergand now when I want to talk to him I just type:/tdz [the message I want to send goes here]
Note that unless they fixed this recently server names are case-sensitive, so you always have to capitalize the first letter of the server name, also with Euro servers you need t capitalize both the "E" in Europe and the first letter of the server name.
So your /alias tdz /tell europe-chimaera.drzoidberg needs to be /alias tdz /tell Europe-Chimaera.drzoidberg
Also a bit late now, but this was a great way of keeping track of your friends while you were in the Space Beta, I'd often play in the beta until I saw some of my Chimaera friends come onlne, and then switch back to the live server to messa round with them.
