yup, having your inventory open only adds to your FPS dropping which is client side lag (some graphics cards just can't handle all those pixels onscreen at once, especially with animation). I use to get lag whenever I opened my inventory with my old card....at that time I turned off the rotation of inventory items and it help a lot....since I got my new card, well no problems here....in fact my FPS is normally 30 and rarely, rarely gets lower than 15 FPS in big laggy places (coronet, minion outpost, theed...etc.)

As for the inventory resizing thing....I believe this is an unfortunate bug as this was not happening in beta all the way up until it went live....soon as the new code went live.....there's a new bug........Fact of the matter is that there will be lot's of new and old bugs surfacing with the merging of ground and space.....this one is inconveinancing for sure and I know the devs will fix it...
