yes it has to be 2 different accounts. if you try to start up a second swg while logged on with ur jedi, once u log on to ur alt on the second instance, your first will simply disconnect

when saving the file type: "user.cfg"

the quotes will make the file be saved as a .cfg file and not a .cfg.txt file

your workaround worked beautifully! thank you very much

(sure as heck beats switching users on WinXP hehe)


thanks also to TBoTIAMAT for providing a way to get it to save as a cfg rather than a .txt file...

i had used a method where you "Save As" and then select "all file types" from the filetype box, but yours seems to work just as well.
