Actually, there not decorations any more, a jedi can "Eat" a holocron and this will give them like 2000 more force or something like that.

actually while I don't know exactly if or how it works. I'm pretty sure that now jedi can use them to replenish their force bar but only one within a certain length of time.

think devs should make it that u can still become jedi by hologrinding....... idk if their still lootable (friend looted one a couple weeks ago) but come on, since I came in around Pub 9.5 I never had chance to hologrind :sniff:

Holo's are used by Jedi now. It is used as a Force Pool stim for Jedi. It will fill up the Jedi's Force Pool, but only 1 can be used per 24 hour period.
