And don't forget to threaten to quit. And um... what else? Oh ya - ask why the devs hate us... that always works.

Yeah, I never could get the cross server chat to work. But cross server tells and emails are nice. And the ability to send tells to multiple people at the same time (/t person1,person2,person3 this is fun
).

Heidibeur,
Yeah I mean if she only heard what we were talking about. I mean it would be very important to the tiggs and the developers. Its a shame there missing it.

Fodder,
and think of all the questions they can't ask about the good ideas which we could develope in realtime.
Btw. I really felt proud to be a Rangerette today, when the others in the group discovered that I could direct them to the much needed Pirates in the Village
. It would have been even better with the Recon Ranger thoughts build into the game
.
:thinks if it is possible that reading the post about the forum Ranger skill like hijacking a thread could have unlocked a skill previously unknow to me

I've enjoyed cross-server tells lately, mainly for talking to DJ Deus during his show on Hyperdrive radio.
For those who don't know, this is how it works:
Normal tells are in the format of:
/tell name message
but for cross server it is slightly different:
/tell server.name message
For example, if there was a player on Eclipse server called Johndoe, you'd say Hi to him by typing:
/tell Eclipse.Johndoe Hi

And, from what I've heard, you can also do:
/tell eq.server.name
to talk to people in Everquestand something similar for all the other SOE games out there. So, if you have a friend picking up EQ2, they can still chat with you while you play SWG (probably /tell eq2.server.name). Seems like a nice touch. I don't know all the details but I have heard a little bit about this.

I believe so. Not sure if you can do cross game emails, though (although the tells are supposedly working).

Ok I just tried email, it doesn't work because in EQ2 there is no in game email as I have been told by my friend. I could send the mail without error message but like our test with the cross server chatgroup showed, even if you don't get an error it doesn't mean that it works

Yes it works, I tried it today with some friends. /tell eq2.valor.name worked well also /tell EQ2.Valor.name.
On monday I will try to send them an email.
Edit: Ops stupid me you asked for emails and I read it like tells
