Not to mention the money draining on your credit card thanks to this over priced game that once you've played for a couple months really isn't very fun.
And before you start accusing me of not giving the game a chance i've been playing since beta II, I was so excited when I hurd this game was comming out I almost **edit** myself. Almost a year later I still find myself beliveing to be playing a buggy beta version of this game only this time i'm paying for it. I see alot of changes "drastic ones" like the at-st nerf, faction pet nerf, item decay, ect ect ect that SHOULD HAVE BEEN IMPLIMENTED while the game was STILL in beta.....not once the game goes live and you have tens of thousands of customers paying for this **edit**......SWG is dead to me, and I don't know about you guys but i'm steadly been watching the server populations slowly drop as others like myself are realizing this game is NOT worth 15 bucks a month.
Playing since beta 2 huh? You knew what you were getting into.
KeiranH are you glutton for punishment, you've obviously spent a great deal of time playing this game, but why? You yourself said it isnt fun, and has no content. Go away! This guy posted about how to make some money, how does your post have anything to do with the topic? Then you accuse us the readers of having nothing better to do than flame people on the boards. Didnt you just do the same thing? I'd like to see posters like you banned from posting, you've brought nothing positive to this post.
To the original poster. Eveyone seems to make money their own way, I rarely have much cash in the bank, but tend to get by. If your interested in hunting, find a group to hunt with, as someone already mentioned the money and the xp come much faster when fighting bigger, better mobs. Buy some harvesters and spend some of those points on survey. I make most of my spending cash selling resources, somebody always needs ore, metals, power and so forth. Especially since the holo patch.
How to become wealthy
1) Become at least a 0/0/4/0 Commando (2/0/4/0 here, and climbing)
2) Go to Tatooine
3) Go to Anchorhead
4) Take Giant Sand Beetle missions (only spawn 3-4 critters each, and pays 6k)
5) Grind like mad
using this method, you too can easily get 90k a day!
Grind miney like mad. get about 250k. find a good mining spot and place em. mine and sell.
I make about 250k a day from my harvestors with very little loss of my time, and you meet interesting people while selling your wares.
make those lots work for you.
i no longer do missions for money
Also harvest meat off of kills and sell it for 20-30 cpu on the bazars. Avian, insect and herbavoire always sell. I am a doc and even I do this "for fun" - I get alaugh at the high price people (doc's like me) will pay for even the crappiest quality meats
. Also I have a few hunters that I pay alright(25-30 cpu) for good quality avian meat. Find a doc, hunt for them and make a new friend andsome credits.
Almost forgot go fishing and sell the meat too, seriously - you'll be amazed at the stuff people buy... heck they even buy fish to put on the wall.
Don't know if it helps but this is how I became millionaire with my one-week -old account : holocrons. They gave you one holocron for christmas, right.
Step 1 :sell your holocronfor 400k or more (advertise 500k and barter). Step 2 : Buy another holocron for 300k or less (advertise 250k and barter). Step 3 : go back to step 1.
I made 800.000 profit this way in five or six advertising sessions of half an hour : I started with one holocron and ended up with one holocron plus 800.000 credits.
(my holocron said "master merchant" by the way, but that's another story).
O, by the way : anyone wanne sell a holocron for 250k ?

does energy from fusion reactors sell well, if high quality? I was palnning on starting my business venture there...
Energy will always sell. Some serious crafters don't want to waste lots on energy collection, and there are always people who run short and need to pick some up. You just can't jack up the CPU too high.
