That pic is probably made with some client hacks (mando is one colour, ingame mando has random colours so it would be near impossible to get a full suit in 1 colour), so only the person using that hack will see that. But yeah, on some servers (all by now?) there are a few pieces of mando (Eclipse for example has quite a lot)

That is a client side hack for sure, same with the lance too... and if i recall, thats a guy on Corbantis in the 2nd picture.

The first picture is a client-side hack, if you notice that weapon is not currently
available in game.
The 2nd picture does indeed belong to corbantis and was made by the Pinkalorians, a group
formed by Nizzle, and whose members were truly great people to game with. I had the
pleasure of heading down there a few times with them, and an even greater honor to be
accepted into the ranks of their PA Fenix Rising.
I believe this armor is currently in someone elses possession, since Nizzle has left the game.

But if this was really a hack, why would the devs put it on the Pic of the day?
Like wouldn't they track this person and ban their account?

One would imagine... the allure of drawing more people to the game using blatant lies about what you can acheive is more attractive than telling the truth.

So what you're saying is instead of punishing the maker of that they're using it as advertisement? That's confusing.

While technically against the TOS/EULA/whatever-they're-called client side mods that turn RIS into Mando, or comp into RIS, or what have you - they really don't harm anyone. They are used also to find the hidden weapons that go out in .tre files also. To use one as an advertisement for the game though - that's really low. It shows that the people who maintain the website just don't play at all. Same deal with the "Horn" requirement for Wookiee Armor.

If you also notice, they have also elected to post pictures of people in the Death Watch Bunker using the head chest gloves and boots
armor bug. For those of you who do not know this bug, it allows you to wear this "mini-suit" and still receive full protection. Now...if there
were no bug, and im just making it up, dont you think that people would want to be in full armor in the most dangerous place in the game?
Hey btw anyone want to send in a picture of themselves wearing the bionic arms with mando and an underslung carbine?
It might just get in.

When that first pic came out, wasn't it made clear that it was a screenshot from a test server?
