Is there a way to talk to or check if friends are on other servers, without logging on to said server?

At this time, I dont think so.. but I havent done a lot of messing around with the chat system so maybe you can...

I know it's possible to send tells from one server to another, but is it possible to set up a cross server chat room? Anyone?

Im logging into bloodfin now. I dont think it will be easy. But it may be possible

We used this for a Chatroom:
/chatroom create SWG.Gorath.Chat.Kordia 0 1 Citychat
/chatroom join SWG.Gorath.Chat.Kordia

Maybe it is possible to adjust it to your needs.

Its not letting me join chat channels from other servers. I would have thought with tells working this was possible but guess not.

We learned it cant be done as of right now. We tried though

Oh yeah sorry crossserver tells work. I use them all the time. Cross-server chats don't which is what we were testing.

Plan b was the petition thread on all the different forums until we got our way right?
