I've really enjoyed being a Creature Handler. It suits my solo style of play very nicely. Course I'm gonna have to give it up now, the investment in skill points could better be used elsewhere.

quite alot of professions are alot of fun, I only try t avoid the professions where it's all about mindless F3 hitting, those become boring quite fast.

funniest I've tried (tried all combat, and alot of others) and found the hell of a fun:

BH/Carbineer/Pistoleer (BH 0440, Carbinner 3420, Pistoleer 0044, novice medic) alot of strategy, but really fun when you get the template working, best template I tried for dueling people, cause there's no master so they try to figure out how they got beaten with their "uber fotm" template.

Creature Handler, Rifleman, Ranger (tracking line), immersive, fun, and rewarding (u can get huge $$$ out of harvesting creatures)

Entertainer professions if you find the right community (wich is hard)

Pikeman over all the other melee I died a little when I dropped that one, but I still got my pikes for later... dropped it for swordsman, kept swordsman 2 weeks :'(

Politician is cool too

of course Pilot is the hell of a fun

WeaponSmith was cool and challenging, shipwright is really cool too, Tailor is, IMO the best crafting profession in terms of fun, architect's not bad.

Avoid Smuggler, only title's cool, but we're ignored by SOE since months.

Combat Medic is not bad either.

Merchant of course, best way to get cash

now Imma post the disappointements, again, that's just my opinion

Swordsman, TKA, rifleman, pistoleer - all those "hit 1 button" professions are powerfull, but you won't be doing anyting else than hitting the same 2 or 3 specials anytime, while drinking your coffee, no challenge, only the short term fun to "be uber", then you'll realize all 12yo 1337 d00dzz got the same profession, actually 90% of the fighting populations share the same 2 or 3 templates...

Doctor - for noobs, doc sounds like easy money buffing, untrue, buffpacks are pricey, and buffing = sitting for hours in the same place, facing tell hell and noobs/scammers/1337 d00dz etc...

"This morning, the team made a decision to delay the Smuggler profession revamp to Publish 11." TH

Loot Shop (Painting, CAs etc...) Coronet/junction (860 -4724)
-- Kojirou Sasaki - Emperor's Eye (Black Epsilon Ace)
-- Chieko - Master StyleSmith (Master Tailor)
-- Aki'xianghua - Twilek Thug (Master of the LongPole - Rarities Collector)

Creature Handler was the funnest profession I ever did. Back then it was very useful, but now it seems to have gone away, it seems that it's not as strong anymore.

Pikeman: Nothing beats performing a Polearm Sweep in a crowded area and watching half a dozen enemies hit the deck.

Bio Engineer: Had it coupled with Creature Handler when I did it and really enjoyed gathering new types of DNA and testing them to see what sort of creatures I could make as I progressed through the proffesion. Downside was that when I had mastered it (which takes a long time) I realised the only really viable way to take the proffession at master was to become a mass producer of Bio-Components for Chef's & Tailors, not my idea of fun. Dropped it pretty quick but enjoyed the ride lol.

I have a few. Haven't tried any melee professions yet.

1. Commando

2. Carbineer

3. Creature Handler

4. Armorsmith

Just mastered armorsmith and I think it'll climb my ranking.

CH/Carbineer was an awesome combo. Same with BH/Carbineer.

I have the most "fun" with my swordsman because it's one of the more powerful combats for PVE. I can go out to just about anywhere & know I can survive, but it can still be a battle.

I also have "fun" with my master arch, because I work with someone I care a lot about & together we come up with various names for things & create houses that are as much fun to read as they are to live in.
