I've had max positive Corsec standing for a long-time but suddenly a couple weeks ago, they've started to randomly aggro me. At first I thought it was just because I'd switched to swords and accidently clipped a couple of them with area attacks, but now it's happening even when I don't have a weapon out. I pulled into C-net last night on my speeder, got off, tried to store and it wouldn't. Then I noticed the combat icon was on, and two Corsec troopers had left their patrol point at the gate and were running over to me at the Starport, so I had to kill them. I checked my alignment again and I was at 4050 positive faction, yet they're still peeved at me for some reason? Is this a new bug issue? I have a feeling this didn't start happening until after I installed JTL - not sure if that's got something to do with it or if it's just a coincidence, but it's a bit weird to walk into a city and come under attack for no apparent reason.

I've had the same problem I have like 4900 CorSec faction and they still randomly aggro me. I thought it was because I did the quest for the Krayt Skull where you impersonate a CorSec officer.

I don't know. I only go to cnet to shop and its kinda hard to fight CorSec with an armful of shopping bags.

Perhaps major faction (reb/imp) is impacting more on the small groups now based on what their political standpoint is? Not sure about Corsec specifically, but I know Corellia is probably the most Anti-Imperial planet in the game, so maybe they're coming at me for that. I haven't done thi spy mission you mentioned or done any mission ever that involved decieving or attacking Corsec. Very odd.

Have you run the neutral corvette mission lately? That will cause the CorSec's to attack you regardless of faction standing.

I don't know about the original poster but I only did the Imperial corvette mission, but if they are attacking me cause I'm imperial I can live with that.

I also am having this problem, now I have treid the neutral corv a few times and been into coronet and had no problems. Now I dont know if this is just a coincidence butI started getting attacked after I installed JTL

goto the rogue corsec base and kiill everyone...

your corsec rating will go back up and they will not attack you anymore.

my bud Ackis was having the same trouble...and he's done that at least once, if not more times...most of the posters here have positive CorSec faction...i think its just really odd...

+5000 CorSec fp, pre-JTL instal and never ran any of the vette missions and once on a blue moon I got attacked sneaking into Coronet. I was a covert reb at the time. I think it's just a fluke that they attack you. Must have looked at them the wrong way.

The same thing happend to me. its not everytime some days i can go to coronet no prob, others i have to run get the heck out of dodge cause i cant fight them worth a darn cause im mostly a crafter. my corsec faction is 5000.

I have a similiar problem with Nym's men. I have positive faction with them but sometimes they will argo me.

There HAS to be a bug with enemy AI. I know a crafter who has never doing a single bit of combat (thus, no faction gains or losses), and she's killed EVERY time she does some advertising.

CorSec went insane with the launch of JTL. Coronet hasn't been the same since.
