I don't know if this has been posted anywhere else so if it has been sorry to waste your time. I was running the numbers on resource amounts needed for large run of buffs. This is handy information to have around so I thought I'd save you guys the time of having to do it yourselves.
Since schematics limit you to a max of 1000 units on any given run of a schematic. I figured the max number of sets you could make with a run of 1000 Adv BEC'sbecause buffs take more of these than any other compont you are limited by them to a max of 62 sets in any given run. Here is the break down.
NOTE: These are for master doc level buffs only
The schematics:
Adv chem Rel
16 herb meat
16 class 4
Adv BEC
18 lok wild wheat
18 tat fiberplast
Adv Sol Del
16 dolovite iron
16 Dom oats
Health
28 avian
28 reactive gas
1 sol del
2 chem rel
3 bec's
Action
22 organic
22 inorganic
1 sol del
2 chem rel
2 bec's
Strength, Stamina, Quickness
22 avian meat
22 reactive gas
1 sol del
2 chem rel
3 bec's
Constitution
22 avian
22 reactive gas
1 sol del
2 chem rel
2 bec's
Ok all totals are figured off above stats.
to make 50 sets:
Health
1400 avian
1400 gas
50 sol del
100 chem rel
150 bec's
Action
1100 organic
1100 inorganic
50 sol del
100 chem rel
100 bec's
strength, staminam quickness
1100 avian
1100 gas
50 sol del
100 chem rel
150 bec's
Constitution
1100 avian
1100 gas
50 sol del
100 chem rel
100 bec's
Totals for the run
5800 avian
5800 gas
1100 organic
1100 inorganic
4800 dolovite iron
4800 dom oats
9600 herb meat
9600 class 4
14400 lok wild wheat
14400 tat fibreplast
300 sol del
600 chem rel
800 bec's
From here on out I'm not gonna brake it down for each stat or this post will be a book
60 sets
6960 avian
6960 gas
1320 organic
1320 inorganic
360 sol del
720 chem rel
960 bec's
which breaks down to
6960 avian
6960 gas
1320 organic
1320 inorganic
5760 dolovite iron
5760 dom oats
11520 herb meat
11520 class 4 liquid
17280 lok wild whear
17280 tat fibreplast
and lastly 62 sets which is the max you can do with a run of 1000 bec's. I put 50 and 60 in there in case you wanna keep thing even
Totals for 62 sets
7192 avian
7192 gas
1364 organic
1364 inorganic
372 sol del
744 chem rel
992 bec's
which breaks down to
7192 avian
7192 gas
1364 organic
1364 inorganic
5952 dolovite iron
5952 dom oats
11904 herb meat
11904 class 4 liquid (wish some good stuffwould spawn)
17856 lok wild wheat
17856 tat fibreplast
you might be wondering why there are only 992 bec's being used that's because I made this list out to be done in complete sets. Each set requires 16 bec's. If you wanna use the remaining 8 you can make a few extra of a pack of your choice. I hope this helps. I wanted to have this up here as a refrence. I realize some people don't wanna do runs of this size but this is what I'm shooting for on my next run and it is a good check list to make sure you have all the resources before you begin. I did make a mistake in my initial calculations I acidently counded action as using avian and gas and while writing this I made the correction. If you find any error plz let me know so I can update the post

Fingaz, do these numbers take into account the stuff needed to make a factory schematic for each of these? Just wondering...

no they are the exact amounts to do the run. You will need a little extra for experimentation. So you can use those 8 extra BEC's for that and if your lucky get done experimenting. I didn't take that into experimentation you will probably have to drop down to 61 sets max. Makes me think that 60 sets is a good mark so you know you will have enough bec's to experiment with

If you think this is helpfull it can always be written with dif subject and placed in the FAQ or stickied to the top. If not I'll just let it drift away into the older posts but if it's usefull it'd be nice to keep it where people can use it.

This is very helpful - thanks. It's nice to have an exact shopping list handy whenever you want to make a factory run of buff packs without having to do the calculations everytime.

Dont underestimate the stuff needed for experimentation, esp with subcomponents.
Lets say you do 5 sets of experimentation on each item.
For the packs - 1 set has 16 ABECs, 12 CRDMs, 6 ASDSs.
*5 rounds of experimentation
= 80 ABECS, 60 CRSMs, 30 ASDSs.
Which in terms of resources is
1440 lok wheat / tat fiberplast
960 herb / class4
960 dom. oats / dol. iron
Five rounds average might be on the excessive side, but failures and "good successes" happen. If i'm going to be making high volumes, then i want to be using the best schematic i can make.

It would be smarter to have a 1000 factory unit run for just the subcomponents of 1 particular Enhance Pack, so from a run of 1000 BECs a person can craft
333 Health, Strength, Stamina, or Quickness buffs.

Yes but you need to have the resources to do 333 of each. WOW that's a lot of avian. I'd love to do that but when I do a run of buffs I'd much rather have full sets than a ton of one stat.

Very nice, just to make sure, this is for 50 and 60 sets of buffs correct ?
I think tomorrow I'll have to go do some hunting. Anyone know where I can find a list of what stats to look for in each of these materials ? Im new to this doctor thing but loving it so far. Eventually I would like to have a vendor with fully stocked buff packs and stims.

You want to look for OQ and PE that's about it. If you want to make good meds you want the OQ to be over 900 for all materials used or at least as close as you can get.
